Purpose & Mission

J.O.B.S. provides job-readiness seminars,  advanced career training courses, national career certification study resources (toolkit), and national career certification exams to prepare the women in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area, women who reside in underserved communities, women who are unemployed, and women who are underemployed.

Upon successfully completing the course, J.O.B.S. provides our graduates with immersive, interactive study material and strategies to ensure successful passing rates on the national certification exams. Once our graduates have passed the national/state-board certification exams, J.O.B.S. board of directors have several working relationships with hiring leaders throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth metropolitan area that will yield positive results for job placement.

During the 2020 pandemic, it became apparent that effective job readiness/career training assistance was not readily available for people facing unemployment in the North Central Texas area. Although federal resources were promoted, federal, state, and local agencies did not allocate the advanced career and job readiness training for women with college degrees and/or professional licensures who could not find employment to adequately provide income for their families.

J.O.B.S. identified this need and is committed to serving the women in the Dallas / Fort Worth communities.

J.O.B.S. is a self-funded organization; we are  continuously seeking donors, grants, and sponsors for monetary support and/or equipment.
