J.O.B.S. in partnership with ed2go offers online education courses designed to provide the workforce with sustainable skills necessary to enter a new field or advance students’ current career. Our online advanced career training courses provide the most effective online training. Students are assigned a student advisor who will assist the students with setting an achievable study/completion schedule.
J.O.B.S. receive subsidized by local, state, or federal funds, or funding by any person, firm, association, or agency other than the student enrolled. There is no charge to enroll women (student) who are unemployed, underemployed, or live in underserved communities (students) for any of the J.O.B.S. offered career training programs or job-readiness courses.
The students will not pay program tuition, fees, supplies, exams, and study materials. J.O.B.S. will pay (on the students’ behalf) the partners, vendors, and suppliers for educational material, services and/or resources.
How to be accepted into J.O.B.S. / ed2go Physical Therapy Technician / Aide career training course?
Applicants must provide evidence (government issued / legal documentation) of being at least 18 years old and Texas resident
Applicants must provide proof of successful completion of secondary education (high school diploma or GED certificate)
Applicants must complete the 8850 Work Opportunity Credit form (validation will be apart of background screening)
Applicants must provide (2) forms of photo identifications and a social security card
Applicants must complete the 123test: Career Aptitude Test and Learning Styles Quiz then submit the results to the Enrollment department
Applicants must complete a school admission virtual meeting with School Director (OR) Enrollment Coach to discuss results of student application & Career Aptitude and Learning Styles
Applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check

Applicants who have been convicted of any felony will not be considered for admission to the J.O.B.S.
Applicants must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

The Certified Physical Therapy Technician / Aide course will prepare students for the America Medical Certification Association (AMCA)’s Physical Therapy Technician Certification (PTTC) exam. Students will learn the role, responsibilities, and qualifications of the certified physical therapy technician/aide in various healthcare settings. Students will properly identify positioning, patient transfers, common exercises, modalities, and medical equipment. Students will demonstrate ethical and legal behavior specific to physical therapy healthcare settings.
Throughout this course, students will identify, define and summarize human anatomy, functional body movements, and system disorders as they relate to physical therapy. The curriculum in this online physical therapy technician/aide course also includes the exercise and mobility training, patient-centered communication, patient education, and workplace health and safety.
To earn a certificate in Certified Physical Therapy Technician/Aide, students must complete 224 clock hours of training with a passing grade.
J.O.B.S. will pay for the students to have access to AMCA Physical Therapy Technician certification (PTTC) exam preparation material.
Students will receive the following to prepare for AMCA PTTC exam: 5 PTTC online practice tests, PTTC exam study guide, and AMCA Quizlet account developed by the AMCA exam SME.
